Terms and Conditions for Reservation of The HKJC VIP Box at Happy Valley Racecourse:
1. This form is effective from 9 October 2024 – 16 July 2025 and only applicable to customers of Selected Hang Seng Credit Card (including Hang Seng Visa Infinite Card, Hang Seng Prestige World Mastercard® , Hang Seng World Mastercard® - not applicable to Hang Seng MMPOWER World Mastercard®)
2. Customers should make advance reservation 7 to 30 calendar days prior to the race meeting date and seats are subject to availability.
3. Customers will receive phone / e-mail notification of the booking result from Hang Seng within 2 working days after submission of the reservation form. The booking confirmation e-mail / letter will be sent / mailed upon the booking is successfully made and confirmed with the customers. If customers do not receive any notification from Hang Seng, please call 24-hour Hang Seng Credit Card Customer Services Hotline 2998 8222 for enquiry.
4. Re-scheduling and cancellation shall be made at least 7 working days before the race meeting date. All re-scheduling / cancellations made after that will be fully charged.
5. Please collect the admission badge(s) (“Badge(s)”) at the reception counter of Entrance C of Happy Valley Racecourse on the race meeting date. Customers and guests have to present the Badges at the entrance of the HKJC VIP Box. Each Badge admits one person only.
6. The Badge(s) is / are designated for the race meeting date shown on the Badge(s).
7. No replacement of Badge(s) will be issued.
8. Dress code: singlets, shorts and flip-flops are unacceptable forms of dress in the HKJC VIP Box. HKJC reserves the right to deny access to customers and guests who do not meet the dress code requirements.
9. Guests must be at least 18 years of age.
10. No outside food & beverage will be brought into the Boxes or any of the Club's premises.
11. The Boxes shall be vacated within 30 minutes after the last race of a race meeting concerned.
12. No preferential seating is available.
13. No smoking is allowed within the HKJC VIP Box area. Customers and guests can only smoke at the balcony outside the HKJC VIP Box area.
14. Tipping is strictly prohibited.
15. Mobile phone must be switched to silence or vibration mode before entering the racecourse. Use of mobile phone is strictly limited to areas outside the restaurant, including the balcony, corridor, lift lobby, toilet and betting hall.
16. If a race meeting is cancelled or re-scheduled by the HKJC, Hang Seng will consider the reservation as cancelled and customers will not be charged for the reserved seats. This is however not applicable to cases where HKJC, for any reason, cancels a part of the race meeting during the course of it.
17. All food and services are provided by HKJC which is solely responsible for all related obligations and liabilities.
18. Neither Hang Seng nor HKJC shall be liable to the customers and their guests for any loss, claims, damages or personal injuries arising out of or in connection with the reservation and use of the HKJC VIP Box.

5. Upon successful reservation, a confirmation letter and admission badges will be dispatched by courier to the Cardholders' specified mailing address within 3 days prior to the race day. Courier services are not applicable to addresses in the Outlying Islands. Admission badges cannot be transferred or re-issued.
6. Cardholders cannot relocate the assigned tables, change the table numbers, or combine tables without prior consent.
7. The dress requirement for Citi VIP Box is casual. Singlets, shorts and flip-flops are not acceptable.
8. If Cardholders cancel their reservations or fail to show up, the payment will not be refunded. No compensation will be made if the paid and free admissions are not used.
9. Admission to The Hong Kong Jockey Club Citi VIP Box is restricted to persons aged 18 or above on all race days.
10. Cardholders using the Citi VIP Boxes are required to comply with all the rules and regulations of The Hong Kong Jockey Club, in particular, the General Bye-laws, Members’ Facilities Bye-laws, Race Day Bye-laws and Badge Bye-laws, as well as any instructions of the Club’s staff. The Club reserves the right to refuse admission to or evict any person who fails to comply with the Club’s rules and/or regulations. The Bank shall not be responsible for any such refusal or eviction.
11. The Club may cancel or abort any race meeting on the occurrence of any event beyond the control of the Club or in respect of which the Club considers it unsafe or unsuitable for the races to be conducted or continued, which includes but not limited to act of God (including typhoon, heavy rain and other extreme weather conditions etc.), fire, war (declared or undeclared), acts of terrorism, riot, civil commotion or disorder, unlawful actions of third parties, industrial disputes including strikes, lockouts or other labour disturbances, closure or blockage of roads, suspension of or major disruption to public transport, act of government including imposition of any law or regulation, curfew or declaration of state of emergency. The Bank shall not be responsible for any such cancellation or abortion.
12. The collection and use of personal data by the Club is governed by the Club’s own Privacy Policy Statement (http://www.hkjc.com/english/corporate/corp_privacy.asp). Cardholders shall read and understand the Club’s Privacy Policy Statement before providing any personal data for making reservation with the Club.
13. Unless otherwise specified, the Offer cannot be used in conjunction with other special promotions, discounts or promotional coupons, nor be transferred or exchanged for cash or other offers.
